In this session, we will explore how SharePoint can assist a Project Manager in managing their teams more effectively as well as communicating to key stakeholders through executive dashboards. See examples of how key SharePoint components (e.g. lists, discussion boards, Wikis, SQL reporting web parts) can be leveraged for tracking progress and managing your project portfolio.

Chuck Magee, PMP, MCITP is a Senior Project Manager with Technology Project Mentoring Group having extensive experience in project / program management and services delivery focused on software implementations and technology consulting. His strengths are in Enterprise Project Management (EPM), multi-industry management consulting, and partner based solution sales/delivery. His previous business experiences include: Project Manager for Microsoft Business Solutions; Director of Services at Teradyne; Manager and Executive Consultant for IBM Global Services; and Manager at KPMG Consulting.

Chuck is currently a VP of Operations for the Microsoft Project Association's Atlanta chapter. Additionally, he is a VP of Finance for the Atlanta chapter of the Project Mgmt Institute (PMI). Chuck teaches project management classes at the university level and to professional societies throughout the US. His certifications include: Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Project Management Professional (PMP) by PMI, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Information Technology Specialist by IBM.
