The Project Manager & Business Analyst Struggle

How many times are we, as Business Analysts, asked to wear multiple hats? In today's business environment companies expect more than just one skill set for their money. This presentation will help those who are asked to wear that hat of Business Analyst and Project Manager by clearly defining what each role is in an IT Project, the skill set necessary to be successful at each role, and acceptable shortcuts to use when forced to act in both roles. This presentation will also help those who do not understand the delineation in the roles.

Robin Tracy, PMP, CBAP, is President of Advanced Solutions Consulting, Inc. currently on assignment at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia managing multiple projects for the Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases. Her education includes a BBA from Georgia State University as well as numerous certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Six Sigma Green Belt and MS Project Server Black Belt.
